Stop Motion Workshop

In one day students will learn the the basic workings of frame by frame animation, first by creating a short flip book illustrating the principles, and then by creating a short, minute long stop motion video. Lego figures and sets will be provided to use in the videos, however students are encouraged to bring in their own props, small sets and figures such as dolls or stuffed animals to make their video more creative and unique. Students will leave with two examples of active frame by frame animation and the tools to create their own animations at home.
