Sculpture: The Portrait

Life size portraits with Susan Clinard.

Students will build an armature, a set of calipers and model a life size portrait in clay. Young adults will study anatomy, proportions, expression and various building techniques. This will will change the way students see themselves and others. It strongly influences the way they will work 2 dimensionally as well.
