Join Stephanie Anestis for a carefree photo walk through the East Rock Park woods next to the Eli Whitney Museum. This photo walk will help beginners, including children, learn how a photographer chooses what to photograph, with a specific focus on how the light affects what we see.
Because photography is a visual art that does not require fine motor skills, it is a great form of expression for young artists. It is also a wonderful way to introduce concepts of color, light, and shape to children, which apply to all forms of visual art.
Appropriate for all camera types, including smartphones. Wear clothing appropriate for an outdoor walk.
Registration not necessary but it would be nice to know how many people are coming.
