Born and raised in Fall River, Mass., Methot came to New Haven in 1963 to pursue woodworking. For almost five decades, Methot’s hands built for New Haven: chairs, cabinets, tables, desks, architectural restorations, furniture repairs, commercial and museum fixtures.
