First Steps with a dSLR

15
Adults

Do you have a dSLR, but use it exclusively on Auto? Is your camera manual too long and too technical? The best way to start to learn how to use your dSLR is through hands-on experimenting with an experienced photographer.

Stephanie Anestis will walk you through how to use a few simple settings to change the way you use your camera. She will discuss questions such as: why do my photos look blurry even during daylight? How can I achieve an out-of-focus background, with a perfectly in-focus main subject? When should I use my flash?

Come with your dSLR in hand and wear clothing appropriate for an outdoor walk. The class will be indoors for discussion as well.
