They harnessed the power of the Industrial Revolution which had built cruel engines of war in the past to make houses and products for. the future. They called their workshop the Bauhaus...the building place.

The Bauhaus Movement reveled in the power of making things, in practical design, in mastering all crafts and materials, in bold simplicity, in fearless invention. The Creative Play Series is a set of books that translates these ideas into challenges for young hands and inspired this workshop.
